To commemorate Women’s History Month, Bet is having a solo exhibit of photographs and encaustic paintings at the UNC-Asheville Highsmith Intercultural Art Center. Her show depicts challenges and triumphs of the female journey. Be intrigued with such works as “Atomic Chocolate” and “Can’t Keep A Good Woman Down.”

Bet is delighted to be exhibiting concurrently with her life-long friend, Mary Alice Ramsey. Ramsey’s show is in the adjoining Highsmith Art Gallery and is titled “Faces, Flowers, and Super Powers.” It portrays the sensitivity, savvy and super strength of women.

The exhibitions will run through March and a dual opening reception will be 5-6:30 p.m. March 6.
